Calling Occasional Stirrings

I was hoping for a comment from you on my Biological Imperatives post. I suppose I just assumed you would have a take on it; you being so deft with words and certainly more knowledgeable on the subject. Not to worry, if you're busy. I hope all is well with you. I enjoyed your last stirring. Keep it real and keep it stirring.

Désolé, MM, excusez-moi. Your last post was very interesting. I'd no idea that we humans were still undecided on the provenance of our gender, but I see both sides of the argument now. Not that I'm at all unsure of my own gender, you understand. Nor you of yours, I'll be bound.

I was a bit scared by the Scientific Integrity blog. I don't see both sides of the argument when it comes to creationism, and this blog is part of a rather spooky attempt by the 'intelligent design' people to engage in a debate with the scientists. Knowing, of course, that their argument is already lost, but gaining credibility by being seen in debate with 'proper' scientists (as Richard Dawkins argues, a lot more cogently than I do.) One of the other posts on the blog tries to show that Hitler (and all that stemmed from him) was a consequence of Darwinism. Er... I don't think so.

I was most impressed by the starry background site, if only because one of the people being interviewed goes by the wonderful name of Grinspoon! Sounds like a character from Gormenghast.

Keep 'em coming, MM.

Oh thank you, Mr Stirrings
I just knew that you would have something interesting to say.
I agree about the doggy provenance of some of the sites, but I'm 100% with you on the stars and the interviewee Grinspoon. A good title for a book, don't you think? Stars and Grinspoon: Scientegrity Unmasked.
